Congratulations to our graduates, class of 2020! We are so proud of our students! Here is a highlight of some of our graduates this year!

Brianna Murphy is a beautiful flower in bloom. She has many gifts that she has only begun to tap into. She has explored different paths along the way during her high school years but has never wandered off the path to graduation. She left Pantherland for a year, but she came back home to a family where she knew that "Failure Is Not An Option." Brianna has dreams that include community college with the possibility of advancing on to a four-year university. Her intrinsic desire to do something BIG will continue to propel her forward into the world until she finds and fulfills her divine purpose.

Kelvin, Kelvin I, and Kelvin II King are the first triplets in CIS-Greater GreensboroĀ® history!! These young men joined the program as sophomores in 2017. They have never experienced a year in their 12 years of school without a friend. They are best friends and gained notoriety in high school as Kelvin, Kelvin, and Kelvin. They often shared the same team of teachers which built a powerful home-school-community partnership. The brothers have different and distinct personalities and no doubt will make distinct and lasting contributions to the community and to the world as they chart their paths to their future beyond the great walls of Dudley High.

Jhayden Smith-Jones is a senior at Dudley High School. Jhayden served as a counselor last summer with the AAMI group. He is the oldest of three children, a role model for sure! He is active in his church and enhanced our JROTC program with his enrollment! Jhayden desires to be a firefighter so we connected Jhayden with one of the captains of the Greensboro Fire Department in hopes of his being able to obtain his dream job!

Nicole Ollison is a senior at Dudley High School. Nicole is wise beyond her years. She successfully navigated high school while learning to balance and manage her needs as well as those of her two younger brothers who look to her for maternal guidance and support. Nicole has overcome a number of challenges, but has learned about herself in the process and has discovered the strength she has within. She has a caring heart and a warm spirit and wants to use these gifts to care for others as a nurse. She will start her path to this goal by entering GTCC and later transferring to a university nursing program.

Wanya Milton is a senior at Dudley High School. Wanya is a humble young man with a strong work ethic. He attended school regularly and demonstrated quiet leadership through his respectful, peaceful nature. He comes from a long lineage of Panthers and will proudly join them as a Dudley alumni in leading and lighting the way for future generations of Panthers. Wanya plans to attend GTCC in the fall.
